The 2006 Teen Art Camp is held at the Bergen Museum’s Paramus Visual Arts Center in the Bergen Mall shopping center, Lower Promenade, Route 4 East & Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652, (201) 291-8848. Enter from W. Spring Valley Road. Public transportation readily available.

The Bergen Museum’s new Paramus Visual Arts Center (BMPVAC) will offer three, week-long sessions: A fourth week may be added with minimum of 10 registrations. Designed specifically for the teen artists, the program has been developed to foster knowledge and appreciation for the visual arts while offering a challenging environment for participants who are looking to expand their visual creative horizons. Each day will offer a wide variety of art mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, three-dimensional work, and watercolor. The week will end with an opening reception where the teen projects and works will be on display.

Weekly sessions held July 10, July 17, and July 24. Tuition $340 per week; museum members $300. per participant, payable to Bergen Museum by check, MasterCard or Visa. Registration begins April 8.

Registration: The confirmation will be processed and sent within two weeks of receiving form and payment. Sorry, we cannot process registrations until we receive payments in full. There is a different project every week; teens can attend multiple weeks and experience a new adventure each time! Program is limited to teens between the ages of 13 – 15 years old. You may copy the registration form if you need to register more than one participant, and mail it along with your payment to: Bergen Museum’s BMPVAC, Bergen Mall, Route 4 East & Forest Ave., Paramus, NJ 07652.
